We are hiring for the position of Area Manager Agri Procurement
Job Responsibilities:
- End to end planning of Potato crop procurement.
- Farmer evaluations for inclusion in FFFL crop program.
- Handling of potato crop operations from seed issuance to harvesting and dispatch to plant or cold storage.
- Provide visibility of crop performance to higher management on regular intervals, maintenance of farmer/crop diaries and ensure agreed agronomy plan accordingly.
- Ensure immediate corrective measures in case of any weather abnormality and communication to farmers and field teams.
- Close coordination with Agri R&D wing for any on-going developmental program and agronomy trials.
- Regular liaison with other zones/region for any strategic shift.
- Close coordination with other relevant depts i.e. Quality Assurance, Warehousing, Finance for communicating points of mutual interests.
