We are looking for Assistant Manager – Fixed Assets position at Union Fabrics (Pvt) Limited.

Key Details:

Job Description:

1. Maintain and update the fixed asset register in SAP S/4HANA.
2. Oversee asset additions, disposals, plant-to-plant transfers, and tagging.
3. Perform monthly depreciation postings and reconcile fixed asset accounts.
4. Handle part additions, capitalization of expenditures, and asset retirements.
5. Manage asset status updates and ensure accurate financial reporting.
6. Contribute to updating and improving the fixed asset policy in line with accounting standards.
7. Ensure compliance with international accounting standards such as IAS 16, IAS 36, and IAS 23.
8. Identify and implement process improvements for fixed asset management.
9. Coordinate with other departments for effective fixed asset lifecycle management.
10. Assist in audit preparations and provide fixed asset-related reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CA, ACCA, or CMA preferred).
2. Three to five years of experience in:
   • A reputable audit firm, focusing on fixed asset assignments.
   • A large manufacturing industry, handling fixed asset management.
3. Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA fixed asset modules.
4. Strong knowledge of international accounting standards related to fixed assets.
5. Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
6. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
