Job Responsibilities:
- Good understanding of business processes and in identifying key risk areas and internal control points.
- Support in preparation of internal audit planning documents, including audit scope and assignment planning notes.
- Conduct audit assignments in a professional manner under supervision, in line with approved audit programmes and standards.
- Review and evaluate internal controls to assess adequacy, effectiveness and compliance with company policies and SOPs.
- Collect, verify and analyse financial and operational data to assess accuracy, efficiency, and compliance levels.
- Prepare draft audit reports highlighting observations, risk areas and recommendations for improvement in controls and compliance
