Education: B.COM/M.COM/ICMA
Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in Finance, preferably in Food Retail Industry.
Skills & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with finance team members to compile and analyze financial data, identify trends, and highlight areas for improvement or cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements governing financial operations across store locations.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits, provide documentation, and address inquiries or findings related to financial processes and controls.
- Sales tax reconciliation is to ensure all sales transactions subject to tax are accounted for, and correct tax rates have been applied. Tax discrepancies are identified and resolved.
- Withholding and Income Tax reconciliation compliance to prevent financial penalties, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Vendor reconciliation is to obtain vendor statements, match records, identify discrepancies, adjust records, verify outstanding balances and document reconciliation.
- Payment verification is to obtain payment records, match payments with invoices, verify payment, confirm receipts.
- Coordination with vendors to address issues such as payment mismatches, missing invoices, incorrect charges and working towards resolution.
