Are you a strategic planner with strong analytical capabilities and hands-on experience in Denim Production Planning & Control? Join our team and play a key role in driving production efficiency, inventory optimization, and on-time customer deliveries.
The key areas of focus and expertise for an ideal candidate include:
- Coordinate with the Marketing team for fabric bookings in line with capacity planning and shipment schedules.
- Finalize yarn technical workings and requirements according to denim fabric specifications.
- Liaise with Yarn Sourcing, Supply Chain, and related teams to ensure timely availability of yarns, chemicals, reeds, and other production inputs.
- Manage yarn inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
- Handle planning and execution of new developments and replenishment programs in coordination with R&D and customer priorities.
- Monitor and control fabric reconciliations after order completion to minimize shortages and excess stock.
- Maintain complete yarn PRs and certification records.
- Lead end-to-end production planning and optimization across all departments, from Ball Warping to Dispatch.
- Develop and manage monthly, weekly, and daily production plans aligned with confirmed orders and shipment commitments.
- Analyze production variances and implement corrective actions to improve operational performance.
- Drive OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance through effective packing target planning and execution.
- Ensure shipment priorities are aligned with customer expectations and business requirements.
- Focus on reducing lead times, rejections, and production wastage.
- Prepare production reports, delivery plans, planning trackers, and management summaries.
- Maintain accurate production planning data using Excel and SAP/Oracle systems.
Qualification & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering / Textile Engineering.
07 – 09 years of relevant experience in Production Planning & Control, preferably within the Denim/Textile industry.
Strong command over SAP/Oracle ERP systems.
Excellent quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong decision-making ability with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
Effective communication, presentation skills, and confidence in handling operational challenges.
The position will be based at the site in Feroze Wattwan, Sheikhupura.
