WE ARE HIRING ASSISTANT MANAGER Merchandising (Home Textile)
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in Home Textile Marketing & Merchandising.
SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of woven and value-added home textile products.
- Sound understanding of textile manufacturing processes including weaving, processing, stitching, and finishing.
- Experience in handling international buyers and managing order execution independently.
- Strong commercial acumen with exposure to costing, negotiations, and customer management.
- Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage customer accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for buyers regarding product development, order execution, and routine correspondence.
- Handle merchandising activities for woven and value-added home textile products from development to shipment.
- Coordinate with production, planning, sourcing, quality, and logistics teams to ensure timely execution of orders.
- Prepare costings, quotations, order plans, and maintain all merchandising documentation.
- Follow up on sample development, approvals, and customer requirements.
- Monitor order progress, identify potential risks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities within existing and potential accounts.
- Analyze customer requirements, market trends, and product opportunities to support business growth.
- Collaborate with design and product development teams to introduce innovative and value-added products to customers.
- Prepare and present order status reports, business updates, and customer performance reviews.
