ASSISTANT MANAGER – INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING (Cut to Pack | Home Textile)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in IE within cut-to-pack operations (home textile preferred).
SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of SMV calculation, line balancing, and productivity improvement.
- Hands-on experience in managing production efficiency.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead Industrial Engineering activities for cut-to-pack operations, with primary focus on stitching section.
- Conduct time and motion studies and establish accurate SMVs.
- Perform line balancing and manpower optimization to achieve target efficiencies.
- Monitor daily production performance, efficiency, and KPIs.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve productivity and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with production, planning, and quality teams to meet delivery and efficiency targets.
- Ensure implementation of IE best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare IE reports, efficiency analysis, and performance dashboards.
- Maintain documentation of SMVs, layouts, and standard operating procedures.
