Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet sales demands and delivery deadlines.
- Ensure that all products meet our quality standards and implement measures to improve quality where necessary.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the production team, including supervisors and line workers.
- Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
- Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels to prevent production delays.
- Continuously analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure all production activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and negotiate favorable terms.
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including productivity, quality, and budget adherence.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in the fashion or textile industry.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control standards, and cost management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
