JOB SUMMARY: Requires physical fitness, teamwork, quick decision-making, and a commitment to safety involves responding to emergencies such as fires, accidents, and disaster scenes to protect lives and the environment. They perform tasks like extinguishing fires, rescuing people providing first aid, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to fire calls, accidents, and other emergencies promptly.
- Extinguish fires using hoses, extinguishers, and other equipment.
- Conduct search and rescue operations to save trapped or injured individuals.
- Provide first aid and emergency medical services.
- Inspect buildings and equipment to ensure fire safety compliance.
- Maintain firefighting equipment.
- Participate in drills and training to stay prepared.
- Educate the public on fire safety practices.
