Bykea is a Pakistan based app offering motorbike transport, deliveries, commerce and payment matchmaking services on its marketplace platform. Over 2 million registered users drive utility from Bykea in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.
We are looking for a talented UI designer with prior experience in designing consumer focused digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design, possess superior UI skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts, and transform them into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
Positions: UI Designer
About the role:
- Design interfaces and customer journeys for mobile, web and desktop platforms keeping in mind the engineering constraints
- Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Create and manage prototypes for new product ideas
- Strive to deliver user-centered design solutions
Skills & Competencies:
- Proven UI experience in designing consumer focused digital platforms
- UI design portfolio
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
- Open to receiving objective criticism and improving upon it
- Ability to work in a complex, fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills
- Proficiency in Figma or an equivalent platform for creating screens and prototypes is a must
Qualifications & Experience:
1-2 years of experience in working with consumer focused digital products
2-year Bachelor degree
