We are currently looking for candidates for the position of Category Specialist for our Head Office.
Requirements:
Candidates should have at least 3-5 years of experience in FMCG.
MBA in Marketing/Supply Chain from HEC recognized university.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms and ensure quality standards are met throughout supply chain through audits at supplier warehouses as required.
- Analyze potential markets, competitor positioning, and customer buying patterns to project demand/profitability for potential products, key product features/requirements, favorable timing for product launch, promotions, etc.
- Perform Warehousing and Stores requirements analysis. Ensure distribution of imported goods to all our warehouses and stores on time according to agreed delivery dates.
- Gather consumer insights through regular interactions with suppliers and consumers to identify unmet needs and generate ideas for new product/ features selection.
