Urgently looking for Assistant Manager Gateway Operations – International for our Islamabad & Sialkot Offices. Candidates with 3-4 years experience in Courier/Freight Forwarding industry and knowledge and skills of International Courier operational management are encouraged to apply.
Brief Job Description:
The AM will be responsible to ensure following tasks are being accomplished on day to day basis:
· International shipment arrival processing and sorting.
· Documentation check (CNIC/NTN, DGR/NON DGR, commercial/proforma invoice, undertaking with thumb impression, any other relevant documents)
· Physical checking of shipment contents to avoid any security breach.
· Packing/ Re-packing of shipments as required including fragile items to ensure it is Transit worthy.
· Close coordination with transport department on daily basis.
· Close coordination with cargo agent/airlines and custom agent.
· Close coordination with ANF (ANTI NORCOTICS FORCE) / Drugs Enforcement Cell
· To take care of customs matters for outbound shipments and deals with related authorities where needed.
· Invoice verification of cargo and Custom Agent.
