POSITIONS VACANT: Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works Limited is looking for suitable candidates for appointment against following positions on contract basis.
VACANT POSITIONS
1. DGM (Planning & Design)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification / Experience
- BE / ME (Mechanical) with recognized institution.
- Minimum 15-20 years of relevant experience in material planning, procurement, specifications, sourcing and coordination with stakeholders having sound knowledge of ASME, ASTM and API codes/standards, project management, engineering design, business planning and contracting concepts.
- Candidates having proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project for project planning, scheduling, monitoring and progress tracking will be preferred.
- Age: Up to 55 years.
2. Supervisor (Welding)
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification / Experience
- B. Tech / DAE (Mechanical / Metallurgy) with recognized institution.
- Minimum 05 – 10 years of experience in steel fabrication and structural steel projects & also knowledge of welding codes, standards, fabrication drawings, weld symbols, quality control and welding inspection procedures.
- Candidates having certifications CSWIP 3.1 and Visual Testing Level II with excellent communication skills will be preferred.
- Age: Up to 45 years.
3. Electrician
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification / Experience
- Matric / DAE (Electrical).
- Minimum 02 – 03 years of experience in relevant field.
- Candidates having wireman license will be preferred.
- Age: Up to 35 years.
4. Plasma Machine Operator
No. of Posts: 01
Qualification / Experience
- Matric / Intermediate preferably DAE (Mechanical).
- Minimum 02 – 03 years’ relevant experience of heavy fabrication industry.
- Candidates having relevant trade certification will be preferred.
- Age: Up to 45 years.
