WE’RE HIRING | DEPUTY MANAGER – TRANSITION CELL
Kamal Limited is looking for an experienced and skilled Deputy Manager to lead our Transition Cell team within the Washing Sampling & Research & Development (R&D) department.
Qualification: Bachelor’s in Textile Engineering or related field
Experience: Relevant experience in Washing R&D / Transition Cell / Bulk Washing Production
Skills: Shrinkage analysis, PPR & TOP handling, shade evaluation, sample-to-production transfer, wash recipe understanding
Location: Lahore
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all transition-cell activities from sample approval to bulk production, ensuring technical information is ready before execution.
Manage shrinkage evaluation and control (length, width, sleeve, inseam, skew/twist, fabric growth) and coordinate measurement concerns with Technical, QA & Merchandising.
Coordinate PPR (Pre-Production Run) activities, review results against approved samples, and drive corrective actions.
Monitor TOP (Top of Production) approval covering shade, wash effect, hand feel, measurements, appearance and finishing quality.
Manage 1st Load development and shade band preparation & control as per buyer requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related field preferred, with strong technical knowledge of denim washing and garment dyeing.
3-4 Year’s relevant experience in Washing R&D / Transition Cell / Bulk Washing Production, preferably in a structured denim or textile manufacturing environment.
Strong skills in shrinkage analysis, PPR & TOP handling, shade evaluation, sample-to-production transfer, wash recipe understanding and technical reporting.
Proven leadership ability to manage and train a supervisory team, with strong coordination skills across R&D, QA, Merchandising and Production.
