Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lab Chemist with extensive experience in formulating hair dyes, skin care, and beauty creams. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end product development, acting as a project manager from formulation approval through implementation and final manufacturing. In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for developing innovative and market-ready formulations, ensuring product stability, quality, and compliance with industry standards. The candidate will oversee the entire product lifecycle, coordinating with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to finished goods efficiently. Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize formulations for hair dye, skin care, and beauty cream products.
- Lead the formulation approval process and oversee full-scale product testing, stability, and quality assurance.
- Manage projects from initial concept through full-scale manufacturing and commercialization.
- Ensure products meet regulatory standards and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to implement formulations into production processes.
- Troubleshoot formulation and production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Independently manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for product development projects.
- Knowledge of technical specification of ingredients.
- Have good knowledge of basic principles of Chemistry.
Education:
- Bachelors/Masters: Chemistry or Chemical
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years experience in ready formulation of personal care products (Hair Dye, Beauty Creams)
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary: 160,000-165,000 PKR
