TimeXperts Pvt. Ltd. is looking for candidates for the position of IT Support Officer.

At TimeXperts you’ll be a part of a team that uses the latest IT technologies and tools to develop, test, and deliver software.
The ideal candidate would provide IT support to our internal users. This includes desktop support, application support, troubleshooting network and system issues, OS imaging, etc.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with Windows and Linux, LAN and WAN management and day to day resolution of support tickets
  • Experience with Windows server applications (e.g., SQL, Oracle, IIS, etc.)
  • Experience troubleshooting firewall, router, and switch issues
  • Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and extensive equipment support experience
  • Familiarity with standard communication protocols
  • Experience with VMware and managing VM resources
  • Familiarity with antivirus and anti-malware solutions, e.g. Symantec Endpoint Protection
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, IAS, NPS, NAS, SAN, VLAN
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to speak and write in English
  • Bachelor’s degree and certifications in relevant fields

Job Responsibilities

  • Building, imaging, configuring, troubleshooting, and supporting company laptops and desktops
  • Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting end-user and infrastructure including network hardware, peripheral devices, video conferencing equipment, access points, VMs, and other products in order to meet required service levels
  • Building, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining Windows devices, load software packages such as networking components, operating systems and office applications
  • Installing and troubleshooting hardware and peripherals e.g. drives, printers, docking stations, IP phones, data collection terminals, smartphones, keyboards and monitors
  • Providing round-the-clock support for critical systems
  • Configuring local network and Internet access, including router, firewall and VPN connections
  • Ability to use an NMS for troubleshooting networking, hardware, performance, and capacity issues
  • Creating and maintaining related system and process documentation
  • Maintaining up-to-date record of IT assets including software keys
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a constantly changing and growing environment
