Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily cane lab operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Supervise calibration, maintenance, and proper use of lab equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all test results and prepare reports.
- Conduct quality tests including Brix%, Pol%, Fiber%, Moisture%, Purity%, and Sucrose%.
- Monitor sugarcane quality from different suppliers and farming zones.
- Ensure timely sampling and analysis of incoming cane.
- Implement best practices to improve lab efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with production team to adjust crushing parameters based on lab findings.
- Train and guide lab technicians on testing procedures and safety protocols.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on cane quality trends.
- Analyze test data to identify variations and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Chemistry.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in a cane laboratory.
- Proficiency in cane lab testing instruments and data analysis.
