Job Opportunity: Merchandiser – Sefam
We are looking for a skilled Merchandiser to manage product development, material planning, and end-to-end production coordination for our apparel categories.
Key Responsibilities:
-Coordinate with the design team to develop detailed Tech Packs and ensure accurate material demand for fabric, trims, accessories, and all garment components.
-Calculate garment consumption and apply strong technical knowledge of dyeing, printing, and embroidery for precise planning.
-Share Tech Packs and required materials with the stitching unit, manage PPS approvals, and ensure timely bulk production.
-Follow up with production, stitching, cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing teams to maintain workflow, quality, and OTIF delivery.
-Ensure timely preparation of development samples aligned with approved designs and specifications.
-Prepare garment costing sheets, verify with finance, and maintain cost efficiency without compromising quality.
-Track production progress, maintain WIP and status reports, and resolve any delays or bottlenecks.
-Ensure all samples and bulk production meet brand quality standards and maintain complete documentation of approvals and comments.
Requirements:
-Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, dyeing, printing, -embroidery, and production processes.
-Excellent coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills.
-Ability to manage multiple orders and delivery timelines efficiently.
