We’re hiring a Deputy Manager – Audit based at our Factory in Port Qasim.
We’re looking for an experienced audit professional to strengthen internal controls, ensure compliance, and drive effective audit processes across our manufacturing operations. Here’s what the role requires:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-audits of factory payments and verify supporting documentation, approvals, and policy compliance
- Verify wages, attendance, workers’ overtime, petty cash, canteen subsidy, and plant & machinery repair and maintenance expenses
- Review proper cost classification of BOM, Non-BOM, and indirect material items
- Conduct periodic and surprise checks of raw material stores, WIP, finished goods, and Main Parts Store (MPS)
- Verify physical inventory against system/book balances and identify shortages, excesses, abnormal consumption, and discrepancies
- Verify BOM compliance and review changes made through the approved Engineering Change Request (ECR) process
- Conduct surprise checks of material receiving and GRN procedures
- Review gate passes, gate registers, and movement of materials, finished goods, scrap, and company assets
- Identify control weaknesses, procedural deviations, segregation-of-duties issues, and potential leakages
- Prepare audit observations and follow up on corrective actions
- Conduct special audits, investigations, stock counts, and other assignments as directed by management
Qualifications & Experience:
- CA / ACCA / ICMA – Partially Qualified or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in Internal Audit, Factory Audit, or Cost Audit within a manufacturing organization
- Strong command of MS Excel and ERP systems
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX will be an added advantage
