SITUATION VACANT / CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Applications are invited from qualified, experienced and competent professionals for appointment against the following positions in the Project Management Unit (PMU) of the Project titled “Establishment of Fruit & Vegetable Mandi, Larkano”, on project basis (for three years only), as provided in the approved PC-I and subject to the availability of funds and satisfactory performance:
POSITIONS & QUALIFICATION DETAILS
1. Director Finance
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience: MBA (Finance) / ACMA / ACCA / CA (Part Qualified) with at least 10 years’ relevant experience in public-sector project accounting. Knowledge of applicable procurement rules required.
- Monthly Salary Package: Rs. 350,000/-
2. Procurement Specialist
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience: BE/BBA/MBA or equivalent with relevant professional certification and at least 8 years’ experience in public procurement, preferably under PPRA/SPPRA framework.
- Monthly Salary Package: Rs. 325,000/-
3. M&E Expert
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience: ME/Master’s in Economics / Statistics / Project Management or equivalent with at least 8 years’ relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation of development projects.
- Monthly Salary Package: Rs. 300,000/-
4. Project Engineer (Civil)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience: BE Civil Engineering from HEC-recognized University with at least 7 years’ relevant experience in road/highway or infrastructure construction.
- Monthly Salary Package: Rs. 250,000/-
5. Project Engineer (Electrical)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience: BE Electrical Engineering from HEC-recognized University with at least 7 years’ relevant experience in road lighting, traffic signals and electrical infrastructure.
- Monthly Salary Package: Rs. 250,000/-
6. Project Engineer (Mechanical)
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience: BE Mechanical Engineering from HEC-recognized University with at least 7 years’ relevant experience in construction machinery, pumps and mechanical systems.
- Monthly Salary Package: Rs. 250,000/-
7. Admin/HR Officer
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience: BBA/MBA (HR) or equivalent with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in HR/ administration, preferably in development projects.
- Monthly Salary Package: Rs. 200,000/-
8. Accounts Officer
- No. of Posts: 01
- Qualification & Experience: B.Com/M.Com/ICMA (Inter) or equivalent with at least 5 years’ relevant experience in project accounting and financial reporting.
- Monthly Salary Package: Rs. 200,000/-
9. Office Assistant
- No. of Posts: 02
- Qualification & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree (14 years education) with at least 3 years’ relevant experience in office coordination, documentation and record management.
- Monthly Salary Package: Rs. 50,000/- each
10. Driver
- No. of Posts: 05
- Qualification & Experience: Middle Pass with valid LTV/HTV driving licence and at least 5 years’ relevant driving experience.
- Monthly Salary Package: Rs. 50,000/- each
11. Naib Qasid
- No. of Posts: 02
- Qualification & Experience: Primary/Middle Pass with at least 2 years’ relevant experience in office support duties.
- Monthly Salary Package: Rs. 40,000/- each
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected PMU staff shall perform duties relevant to their respective positions, including project planning, implementation, technical supervision, financial management, procurement, monitoring & evaluation, contract administration, quality control, record management, HR/administration and reporting, in accordance with the approved PC-I, applicable Government rules/policies and directions of the competent authority.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The appointments shall be made strictly against the approved posts and provisions of the PC-I of the Project.
- The appointments shall be on contract/project basis and shall remain subject to availability of funds, satisfactory performance and continuation of the project.
- The monthly salary packages mentioned above shall be as approved/provided in the PC-I and subject to applicable Government rules and approvals.
- Only candidates fulfilling the prescribed qualification and experience requirements shall be considered.
- Candidates shall submit their applications along with updated CV, CNIC, educational certificates/degrees, experience certificates and other relevant documents.
- Candidates already in Government/Semi-Government service shall apply through proper channel, wherever applicable.
- Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for test/interview, if required.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the test/interview.
- Original documents shall be produced at the time of interview for verification.
- The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any application, cancel the recruitment process, vary the number of posts or not to fill any post, without assigning any reason.
- No TA/DA shall be admissible for joining the post.
- No application shall be entertained after the due date.
- Any attempt to influence the recruitment process shall result in disqualification.
- The recruitment shall be carried out by the duly notified Recruitment Committee/competent authority in accordance with the approved PC-I and applicable rules/policies.
- The appointment shall confer no right to regular appointment in Government service.
- The selected candidates may be required to perform duties at Larkano or other project-related locations, as determined by the PMU/competent authority.
