Suraj Cotton Mills Limited is looking for a talented and motivated ASSISTANT MANAGER INTERNAL AUDIT to join our team at Head Office, Lahore.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the development and execution of risk-based audit plans and programs to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
- Collaborate with Internal Audit Team and outsourced consultants to conduct internal audits, providing necessary data, and coordinating inter-departmental communication to ensure a smooth audit process.
- Conduct internal audits in accordance with established audit methodologies, procedures, and standards, evaluate the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information.
- Identify and assess potential risks and control gaps in various business processes and operations, evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
- Discuss internal audit findings with relevant stakeholders and obtain comments against internal audit observations.
- Review and implement corrective actions suggested by the internal audit department, ensuring timely and accurate execution to address identified issues.
- Oversee the audit execution by the Internal audit team, regularly monitoring their progress and addressing any obstacles or delays encountered.
- Conduct thorough audits of payroll processes and records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity in payroll administration.
- Perform any special audit or verification task assigned by management (e.g. Bonus or increment verification).
- Ensure meticulous documentation and maintenance of audit-related records, reports, and correspondence for future reference and compliance purposes.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Qualification: ACA / CA (Fin)
- Experience: 1 – 2 years of relevant experience post articles
