NayaPay is expanding, and we’re in search of a skilled Project Manager who can be an integral part of our dynamic team
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, product, and operations, to develop release plans and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with project goals and timelines. Ensure projects are executed efficiently within scope and time constraints.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with software releases. Develop contingency plans and manage issues as they arise during the release process.
- Allocate resources effectively, including team members and third-party vendors. Monitor resource utilization and adjust as needed to meet project goals.
- Maintain open and transparent communication with project stakeholders, including third parties, internal teams, and senior management. Provide regular project updates and reports.
- Ensure project deliverables meet high-quality standards and adhere to industry best practices. Conduct pre-release testing and post-release validation to confirm successful deployments.
- Work closely with the team to design and propose innovative solutions that address Stakeholder requirements. Develop detailed solution architectures and specifications.
- Manage changes to project scope and schedule. Assess the impact of changes and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate and lead release activities, including deployment planning, scheduling, and communication. Ensure that all stakeholders are informed and prepared for upcoming releases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on technical projects in the Financial Services industry.
- Knowledge of financial systems, processes, and regulations.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project resources effectively. Possess knowledge of software development, deployment, and release processes.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
