Job Description:
Khas Stores is looking for a creative and passionate Textile Designer with 2 years of experience to join our team. As a Textile Designer, you will be responsible for developing innovative patterns, prints, and designs for our eastern wear and home textile collections. You will collaborate closely with the design and production teams to bring new ideas to life, while ensuring that our designs remain fresh, trendy, and aligned with Khas Stores’ aesthetic.
Key Responsibilities:
Create original textile designs, patterns, and prints for women’s eastern wear and home textiles.
Develop mood boards, sketches, and digital mock-ups based on seasonal trends.
Work closely with the production team to ensure the designs are translated accurately into final products.
Research market trends, materials, and techniques to bring fresh design ideas.
Ensure all designs align with Khas Stores’ brand identity and customer expectations.
Use design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD to create and refine designs.
Coordinate with suppliers to source materials and monitor quality standards.
Assist in planning collections for each season, ensuring innovation and appeal.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
2+ years of experience in textile or fashion design.
Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD).
Strong knowledge of fabric types, printing techniques, and color theory.
Excellent creativity and artistic skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines.
Strong understanding of market trends in eastern wear and home textiles.
Good communication and presentation skills.
