Ismail Industries Limited is looking for a proactive and technically driven individual to join our team as a Junior Officer – IT at our Karachi Head Office.
This role will support daily IT operations, ensuring smooth system functionality, timely issue resolution, and reliable technical assistance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to users via phone, email, or on-site assistance.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and related peripherals.
- Assist in managing Active Directory, email accounts, and network permissions.
- Monitor and support LAN/WAN connectivity and Wi-Fi network performance.
- Support implementation of IT security policies, backup procedures, and system standards.
- Manage software installations, updates, and license tracking.
- Log, track, and resolve IT tickets within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs and IT procurement.
- Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and network/system records.
- Participate in ongoing IT projects and support system enhancement initiatives.
Qualification & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of experience in IT support or system administration (fresh graduates encouraged).
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking.
- Familiarity with routers, switches, and firewalls is an advantage.
- Experience with IT ticketing systems is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
