DEPUTY MANAGER MAINTENANCE
Location: Karachi
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the design and development of mechanical systems and components. Ensure designs meet safety standards, performance requirements, and customer specifications.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures. Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
- Address and resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems. Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in budgeting and resource planning for engineering projects. Monitor and control project expenditures and resource utilization.
- Lead in planning, executing, and overseeing mechanical engineering projects from conception through to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all technical specifications.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and engineering reports. Provide regular updates and presentations to senior management.
- Ensure all mechanical engineering practices comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Supervise and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and technicians. Provide guidance and support in technical matters and professional development.
REQUIREMENTS
- Mechanical engineering from reputed university
- At least 7-8 years of industrial experience in FMCG.
- Strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of Machines mechanism and reliability & Project Management.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Experience with ERP systems like Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Infor, in addition to SAP.
