POSITION SENIOR OFFICER BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE

QUALIFICATION Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science or related discipline
EXPERIENCE 1-3 years’ experience in data analysis or BI reporting
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect, clean, and prepare data from internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Partner with IT teams to streamline data extraction processes, maintain data pipelines, and document data sources, schemas, and workflows.
- Develop and maintain BI reports and dashboards, customizing as needed for stakeholders and ensuring timely, accurate delivery.
- Perform in-depth analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights, leveraging statistical methods.
- Maintain BI tools, assist in troubleshooting, ensure data security, and support end-user training.
- Automate repetitive reporting tasks, enhance dashboard performance, and contribute to the development of BI best practices.
- Document analysis findings and escalate complex issues when necessary.
CORE KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Excel (including Power Query), SQL & Python for data manipulation and analysis.
- Expertise in BI tools such as Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau for dashboard development and data visualization.
- High accuracy in data handling, validation, and reporting to ensure reliability and trust in outputs.
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and data warehousing concepts (e.g., ETL processes, data lakes).
