Position: Manager QA/QC
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC programs to comply with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Establish and enforce quality protocols and procedures for raw materials, production, and finished products.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to monitor product quality and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead investigations into customer complaints and quality incidents, and implement preventive measures.
- Manage and develop QA/QC professionals, providing coaching and training.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory authorities and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the food industry, particularly in food manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of QA principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
- Proven track record in implementing and managing QA/QC programs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in quality management software and MS Office.
