Sana Safinaz is looking for the position of “Factory/Production Manager” for its Production Unit based in SITE Karachi.
Job Description:
Incumbent at this position will be responsible to:
- Stitching & Embroidery productivity within budget allocated by top management.
- Monitor CMTS/outsource in stitching & EMB unit heads according to company guidelines manual.
- Review and verify the reconciliation reports and submit to top management.
- Review planning and production performance of the factory in charge
- Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and employees.
- Produce and oversee operational plans for capital equipment provision, maintenance schedules, contingency plans for stalled production and other disaster recovery.
- To develop a business model for Stitching/Embroidery production and conduct the necessary research and groundwork for execution of the finalized business plan.
- Reviewing and finalizing routines, standard operating procedures, timelines, and business plans.
- Review daily reports showing production performance for each area and compare actual performance with area goals.
- Daily review of the reports relating to product quality, level of wastage and rejects. Inquire into the reasons for wastage and reject levels in excess of established norms and take remedial action where necessary.
- Investigate the reasons for deviations from production targets and take steps for the removal of bottlenecks and find the solution of problems leading to sub-optimal performance.
- Review customer complaints of product quality with Quality Manager. Ensure that corrective actions are taken to address the root cause efficiently and effectively.
- Working closely with the Directors/ Management, establish key performance indicators to facilitate the monitoring of production performance for the areas under his control. Design and implement suitable management information reports, which show actual performance compared with plans and generally accepted benchmarks, where applicable.
- Regulates workflow to ensure maximum production capacity. Monitors the floor production schedule to ensure that products are completed according to deadlines.
- Provides leadership through effective goal setting, delegation, and communication.
- Ensure that efficiency and production targets are effectively communicated and achieved.
- Analyzing and comparing reconciliation, warehouse inventory and production data.
- Effective gap analysis and identification of wastages using modern tools.
- Provide planning and co-ordination among the operations and maintenance teams regarding the routine, preventative and predictive maintenance requirements.
Job Specification:
Qualification: BE Industrial/ MBA
Experience: 10-12 years of experience
