National Clearing Company of Pakistan Ltd “NCCPL” is a significant institution of Pakistan’s capital market. The Company undertakes clearing and settlement of capital market trades/transactions. The Company also acts as a Central Counterparty to perform the comprehensive Risk Management and provides various value added services including Capital Gain Tax System. NCCPL is making continuous efforts to cater the needs, developments and reforms in the capital market by developing new products.
NCCPL is looking for Deputy Manager – Internal Audit.
Job Summary: To carry out different assignment of the Financial & Operational Audit for National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL) ensuring the work is carried out with professional care and in accordance with the with the appropriate standards. In addition, the role provides input to the preparation of Annual Internal Audit Plan and contributes significantly.
Reqistes:
Education: Bachelors/Masters or equivalent in relevant field.
Certification: ACCA/CA/CIA/CPA.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience, preferably in Capital Market/Financial Institution and/or reputable Brokerage House.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in objective assessment of business processes; identification and evaluation of the company operational and performance risks through a Risk-Based Audit methodology and provides input to the development of a Risk-Based Annual Internal Audit plan.
Plan and perform operational, performance, compliance and financial audits as well as special reviews as assigned from time to time.
Ensure that audit and several reviews are executed complying with the internal audit Operational Manual, IIA- Standards and ISO Standards (ISMS and BCMS).
Communicate the results, findings and recommendations of audit and special reviews via written reports and presentations on a timely basis to CIA, Audit committee and/or Board of Directors.
Keep the Chief Internal Auditor informed on the status of work in progress, delays, problems and challenges.
To ensure the implementation of audit recommendations in a timely manner.
To assist CIA in managing and governance of Audit Committee meetings and related matters.
Other duties as directed by superiors.

Ability to promote the value of internal audit.
Keep abreast with regulatory changes and industry standards.
Knowledge in auditing, internal audit standards, fraud awareness, and professional ethical standards.
Knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management (i.e. Risk Analysis and Control Assessment).
Location: Karachi
