POSITION VACANT: The Chief Minister’s Secretariat / House, Sindh requires the services of Bearer (BPS-05), on two (02) vacant positions as per the following eligibility criteria:
1. Bearer (BPS-05)
- Number of Vacant Positions: 02
- Prescribed Qualification:
- Matriculation at least in “C” grade from a recognized Board of Education.
- Having at least in one (01) year experience in Hotel / Restaurant / Caterer.
- Required Skills:
- Clearing and cleaning of tables.
- Communicating with kitchen staff.
- Serving of drinks and food.
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety standards.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 28 years
General Instructions:
(i) Applicants must have successfully passed the General Screening Test (Matriculation Category) conducted by the Sukkur IBA Testing Service (STS), with at least 40% marks, and possess the certificate issued by STS. Applicants who fulfill the above requirements must apply for the advertised vacancy through the Sindh Job Portal, Government of Sindh, at https://sjp.gov.pk within 15 (fifteen) days of the publication of the advertisement.
(ii) The candidate’s Domicile and PRC/Form-D certificates submitted on or before the closing date/cut-off date for submission of applications shall be accepted, whereas certificates acquired or submitted after the cut-off date shall not be entertained.
(iii) Those applicants who are already in Government Service should get NOC from their Department prior to submission of application and bring original copy of the NOC at the time of interview for submission before the Departmental Selection Committee.
(iv) The appointment shall be made as per the Policy Notified by the Government of Sindh on 26-04-2023 and under provisions of Sindh Civil Servants Act 1973 and its rule, as amended from time to time.
(v) The age of applicants shall be calculated as of the closing date for submission of applications, in accordance with Rule 7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024. Any relaxation in the upper age limit shall be subject to the prevailing rules and policies of the Government of Sindh.
(vi) All reserved quotas will be observed for all categories if applicable.
(vii) Incomplete applications / applications received after due date will not be entertained.
(viii) The shortlisted applicants should appear before the Departmental Selection Committee alongwith original documents for interview as per the schedule to be uploaded on the Job Portal.
(ix) No TA & DA will be admissible for interview.
