SITUATIONS VACANT: Applications are invited from the Pakistani Nationals for the following positions on regular/contract/lump sum pay basis:-

1. Professor (BPS-21)

Posts & Specializations:

Qualifications & Experience:

i. Qualifications: Ph.D from an HEC recognized University/Institution in relevant field.

ii. Experience: 15 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized university OR a Post-Graduate Institution OR professional experience in the relevant field in A National OR International Organization.

10 years Post Ph.D Teaching/Research experience in HEC recognized University OR a Post-Graduate Institution OR professional experience in the relevant field in A National OR International Organization.

iii. Publications: 15 Research Publications (with at least 5 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized Journals.

2. Associate Professor (BPS-20)

Posts & Specializations:

i. Anthropology (1 post)

ii. Animal Nutrition (1 post)

Qualifications & Experience:

i. Qualifications: Ph.D in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

ii. Experience: 10 years teaching/research experience in HEC recognized university OR a Post-Graduate Institution OR professional experience in the relevant field in A National OR International Organization.

5 years Post Ph.D. Teaching/Research experience in HEC recognized University OR a Post-Graduate Institution OR professional experience in the relevant field in A National OR International Organization.

iii. Publications: 10 Research Publications (with at least 4 publications in the last 5 years) in HEC recognized Journals.

3. Assistant Professor (BPS-19)

Posts & Specializations:

Qualifications: Ph.D in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution.

4. Lecturer (BPS-18)

Qualifications:

First Class MS/MPhil/equivalent degree awarded after 18 Years of education in the relevant field from an HEC recognized University/Institution with no $3^{\text{rd}}$ division in the academic career.

Condition of no $3^{\text{rd}}$ division shall not be applicable in the qualification of appointment as lecturer in Universities or Degree Awarding Institutions provided that the candidates holds a higher degree viz. PhD or equivalent degree with not more than one $3^{\text{rd}}$ division in entire academic career.

5. Assistant Estate Care/Security Officer (BPS-16)

No. of Posts: 2

Qualifications:

Intermediate or equivalent qualification at least $2^{\text{nd}}$ division from a recognized Board of higher education.

A police Officer not below the rank of Sub-Inspector with at least 15 years experience in line especially of watch and ward Security In a big organization or an ex-military man not below the rank of JCO.

6. Computer Assistant (BPS-14)

No. of Posts: 6

Qualifications:

Intermediate or equivalent qualification with at least $2^{\text{nd}}$ division from a recognized Board.

Type speed of 40 words per minute alongwith certificate of computer course.

7. Photographer (BS-11)

No. of Posts: 1

Qualifications:

Secondary School Certificate with Science with atleast $2^{\text{nd}}$ division alongwith seven years of experience of exposing, developing, enlarging and printing of photographs in a commercial establishment or repute or a recognized scientific institution.

8. Lab. Attendant (BPS-01)

No. of Posts: 5

Qualifications:

Secondary School Certificate with Science from a recognized Board.

Terms & Conditions / Application Guidelines

Application Form needs to be filled online through University website (i.e. www.uaar.edu.pk) after completion of online application form take the print of form and enclose all educational documents, experiences, publication, experience certificates (if any) alongwith the Bank Draft as indicated below In favor of the Treasurer. PMAS-Arid Agriculture University Rawalpindi.

i. For the post of Professor = Rs.3000/-

ii. For the post of Associate Professor = Rs.2500/-

iii. For the post of Assistant Professor = Rs.2000/-

iv. For the post of Lecturer = Rs.1500/-

v. For BS-5 to 16 = Rs.500/-

vi. For BS-1 to 4 = Rs.200/-

The applications complete In all respects, including attested copies of the degrees/ certificates, CNIC, recent Passport size photographs, certificates and experiences (if any) (Four copies/sets for the posts of Serial No. 1 to 2 (Professor and Associate Professor), Three copies/sets for the posts at serial No. 3 to 4 (Assistant Professor, Lecturer) including application form alongwith attested copy of documents and for serial No. 5 to 8, one copy/set of application alongwith documents) should reach the office of the Registrar of the University by 25.11.2026.

Note: The candidates who have already applied against the advertised positions in the national newspapers and university website with the last date i.e. 08.01.2021, 20.10.2021, 20.04.2022 and 26.09.2022 are not required to apply again. However, they may submit their updated applications (if necessary) alongwith documents without any application fee.

Age limit for initial recruitment (not applicable to the candidates applying through proper channel):

i. BS-1 to 16, minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years.

ii. BS-17 & above, minimum 21 years.

The university authority has the right to consider the application on regular, contract or lump sum pay basis.
