Position: Shift Boiler Superintendent
Reporting To: Shift Manager Plant Operations
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
Job Responsibilities:
The Shift Boiler Superintendent will be responsible for safe & smooth operation of all boilers, planned & emergency shutdowns, startups, troubleshooting and annual shutdown maintenance activities. The incumbent is expected to be well familiar with the equipment’s operations (Compressors, Pumps, Furnaces, Turbines, etc.) and will be responsible for optimization of fuel consumption with respect to material and energy balance.
This position will be required to maintain logbook, log sheets and BFW quality along with process parameters within limits. The incumbent will also be required to communicate with all relevant stakeholders to resolve day-to-day operational issues.
Education:
· B class Boiler Engineer / 1st Class Boiler Attendant Certification from a recognized institution (Valid Certification); or
· C class Boiler Engineer / 2nd Class Boiler Attendant Certification from a recognized institution with D.A.E. Mechanical is a must (Valid Certification).
Experience: At least 10 years relevant experience with minimum of 05 years hands-on experience on BMS and DCS Control System.
Technical Competencies: Troubleshooting, Emergency Risk Management, Operations & Control, PTWS and Computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, etc.).
Non-Technical Competencies: Problem Solving, Teamwork, Result Orientated, Communication Skills and Highly Safety Conscious.
