Head of Supply Chain / Senior Manager (Contracts & Procurement)
The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing strategic procurement and contract management frameworks, ensuring cost optimization, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate a comprehensive supply chain strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives, ensuring resilience, sustainability, and competitive advantage.
- Oversee procurement planning and execution for equipment and services critical to plant operations.
- Identify, evaluate, and engage reliable local and international suppliers.
- Lead strategic negotiations and manage contracts to secure cost-effective, high-quality supplies while mitigating risk.
- Implement effective inventory control systems and ERP solutions to maintain balanced stock levels, avoid shortages, and reduce excess.
- Ensure all supply chain activities adhere to local and international regulations.
- Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on market intelligence and analytics.
- Lead initiatives aimed at optimizing cost structures, identifying alternative sourcing channels, and developing long-term procurement roadmaps.
- Drive techno-commercial analysis, supplier negotiations, and business innovation.
- Manage all contracts with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and key stakeholders to maximize value and operational efficiency.
The candidate must:
- Be an Engineering Graduate or MBA from a reputable foreign or local University (recognized by HEC).
- Have a minimum of 15 years of experience in the supply chain with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership role at the departmental and organizational levels.
- Possess strong analytical and negotiation abilities, proven leadership, and excellent communication skills.
- Have experience engaging with government agencies, OEMs, and strategic partners, along with solid business and financial acumen.
- Be computer literate and proficient in the use of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Work experience in an environment of Integrated Management System would be a plus.
Senior Manager (Business Development & Strategy)
The incumbent will lead KAPCO’s corporate diversification strategy by identifying, evaluating, and executing new business ventures that leverage the company’s existing infrastructure—including land, covered areas, workshops, grid connectivity, and power/energy resources—to create parallel revenue streams alongside the existing 500MW PPA. This role is responsible for replacing lost revenue from reduced capacity by exploring adjacent energy sectors and non-core diversified businesses, ensuring long-term organizational sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Business Development
- Identify, evaluate, and execute greenfield/brownfield investments, Joint Ventures, and acquisition opportunities in energy and non-energy sectors.
- Monetize existing infrastructure assets through leasing, O&M services, and co-located industries.
- Lead M&A activities, feasibility assessments, and regulatory approvals with government bodies (PPIB, NEPRA, provincial authorities etc.).
- Evaluate political, market, and execution risks for new territories/sectors and develop mitigation strategies.
- Project Finance & Financial Analysis:
- Oversee advanced financial modeling (IRR/NPV, valuation, scenario analysis) to ensure bankable feasibility of new ventures.
- Develop analytical frameworks to evaluate strategic options, mergers, acquisitions, and JV partnerships.
- Corporate Strategy & Market Research:
- Direct and oversee structured market and industry research (energy, power, infrastructure, and related sectors) to identify high-value entry points, industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments.
- Lead preparation of strategy notes, investment memorandums, and high-impact presentations for the Board and Committee.
- Translate research into actionable insights for executive management.
The candidate must:
- MBA or degree in engineering, finance, or economics (16 year of education) or professional qualification in chartered accountancy
- Minimum 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role focusing on business development, Project Finance, or Corporate Strategy with large corporates. Experience in project development or infrastructure monetization is a strong advantage.
- Be minimum of 35 years of age
- Deep understanding of Pakistan’s energy sector, investment climate, and corporate regulatory framework.

- Extensive Network in the Pakistani corporate/government sector.
