EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES: EIDMC is a public-sector company established to develop and manage energy infrastructure projects and actively seeking applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions:

Ser. 1: Director (Procurement)

Qualification / Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) or Supply Chain/Business Administration from recognized university. Preference will be given to the candidate having Professional certification i.e. CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), CSCP, or equivalent, PMP or CIPM, Formal training/certification in public / donor funded procurement rules.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in procurement & contract management. Preference will be given to the candidate having minimum 3 years’ experience in power sector.
- Age: Maximum 50 years as on the closing date of advertisement.

Ser. 2: Deputy Director (Project Planning & Business Strategy)

Qualification / Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical) /Business Administration /Project Management from recognized university. Preference will be given to the candidate possessing Master’s Degree in Project Management / Business Administration along with related professional certifications.
- Experience: Minimum Eight (08) years of post-qualification experience in project management. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in, Project planning, preparation of all project documents pertains to planning commission, EPC Contracts, PPP and joint-venture.
- Age: Maximum 45 years as on the closing date of advertisement.

Ser. 3: Deputy Director (Project Finance & Budgeting)

Qualification / Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Accounting / Finance / Commerce from a recognized university OR member of a recognized body of professional accountant. Preference will be given to the candidate possessing Master’s Degree in Finance / Accounting.
- Experience: Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification experience of financial accounting and budgeting / ERP/ Project financing / treasury management / financial modeling and reporting.
- Age: Maximum 45 years as on the closing date of advertisement.

Ser. 4: Deputy Director Civil

Qualification / Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Civil Engineering from recognized university. Preference will be given to the candidate possessing Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with professional certification in Project Management (PMP) / NEBOSH or IOSH Safety Certifications.
- Experience: Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification experience of civil infrastructure projects. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience in managing multi-contractor civil construction programs and knowledge of construction standards, codes, and specifications in energy infrastructure projects.
- Age: Maximum 45 years as on the closing date of advertisement.

Ser. 5: Deputy Director (HSE/ESG)

Qualification / Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering, Energy and Environmental Engineering from a recognized university. Preference will be given to the candidate possessing Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Management/Occupational Health & Safety or professional certifications in NEBOSH / ISO 45001 Lead Auditor / ISO 14001 Environmental Management.
- Experience: Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification experience of HSE/ESG. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience on energy infrastructure projects.
- Age: Maximum 45 years as on the closing date of advertisement.

Ser. 6: Deputy Director Quality & Technical Assurance

Qualification / Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Electrical/Civil/Mechanical Electronics/Industrial / Energy Management from a recognized university. Preference will be given to candidates possessing a Master’s degree in Engineering Management / Quality Management or relevant certificate in ISO 9001 Lead Auditor / Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), or equivalent relevant professional certifications.
- Experience: Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification experience of Quality and Technical Assurance. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience on infrastructure / power / utility, or industrial projects.
- Age: Maximum 45 years as on the closing date of advertisement.

Ser. 7: Deputy Director Project Delivery

Qualification / Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (16 years of education) in Electrical / Mechanical / Industrial/Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Preference will be given to the candidate possessing Master’s Degree in Engineering Management/Project Management.
- Experience: Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification of experience in delivering infrastructure projects. Preference will be given to candidate having experience in coordinating engineering designs/procurement/ EPC Projects / construction/installation / testing, commissioning and project close-out activities / reviewing technical specifications / drawings / method statements / work programmer / inspection and test plans / quality documentation, and contractors’ submissions.
- Age: Maximum 45 years as on the closing date of advertisement.

Ser. 8: Deputy Director (Legal)

Qualification / Experience:
- Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from a recognized university Preference will be given to the candidate possessing Master of Laws (LLM) in Corporate Law/Contract Law / or related specialization Accreditation in arbitration or dispute resolution will be an added advantage.
- Experience: Minimum eight (08) years of post-qualification relevant experience in a reputable national/multinational organization. Preference will be given to the candidate having experience of working in companies / organizations for contract law / commercial law / public procurement/ EPC Contract and regulatory proceedings.
- Age: Maximum 45 years as on the closing date of advertisement.

Ser. 9: Deputy Director (Monitoring & Evaluation)

Qualification / Experience:
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical from a recognized university. Preference will be given to the candidate possessing Master’s Degree in Engineering / Business Administration.
- Experience: Minimum Eight (08) years of post-qualification of M&E of projects. Preference will be given to a candidate having experience in developing & implementing M&E Frameworks / preparation of PC- III, IV and V documents.
- Age: Maximum 45 years as on the closing date of advertisement.

REMUNERATION, TENURE AND AGE LIMIT

A market-based compensation package shall be determined through negotiations and will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

All the above positions will be filled purely on contract basis, initially for a period of Three (03) years from the date of appointment including a three (3) months probationary period.

The contract is further extendable subject to satisfactory performance and need basis.

The contract service shall neither be regularized nor pensionable.

OTHER CONDITIONS:

The applications shall be submitted online within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of advertisement.

For Engineering Qualifications candidate must be Registered as Professional Engineer with Pakistan Engineering Council, whereas Engineering Professionals working abroad who are not currently registered as Professional Engineers (PE) with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) are eligible to apply. However, if selected, they must obtain and submit valid PEC registration as a PE within the stipulated period to confirm their eligibility.

The application must be completed in all respects. EIDMC may require further documentation and / or information from the candidate in due course of time.

Candidates already working in Govt. / Semi Govt. / Autonomous Public Organizations can also apply through proper channel along with NOC of their department issued on their organization’s official Letter head.
