System Engineer – Islamabad
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in system engineering, with a focus on Linux, VMware, and storage solutions.
- Strong in LINUX administration and scripting skills are a MUST.
- Proficiency in Veeam Backup & Replication, Data Domain, and SAN storage technologies.
- Strong expertise in Active Directory, Windows Server environments, and group policy management.
- 5 + years of hands-on experience of administering VMWare, Hyper-V, vCenter, ESXi, vSphare, Veeam
- 5 + years of hands-on experience with RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu/Windows
- 3 + years of experience with Apache, WildFly/Tomcat, MySQL, SMTP, SFTP
- 2 + years hands-on experience with Linux RHEL/CentOS shell scripting, Bash, Windows shell scripting, PowerShell
- 3 + Hands-on experience with Active Directory, LDAP, CA, DNS, Proxy, DHCP, NTP, O365 exchange
- Docker / Kubernetes / Puppet / Chef/other is a plus
- Configuration Management and CI/CD in GitLab/Jenkins is a plus
