WE’RE HIRING! Assistant Manager – EHS & Compliance
Location: Faisalabad (FIEDMC)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within the chemical or food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and schedule training sessions covering emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.
- Develop and implement inspection policies and procedures, including a schedule for routine inspections.
- Maintain records of hazardous waste discharges or employee exposure to pollutants, as required.
- Ensure that Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) are maintained and readily accessible.
- Perform duties assigned by Management Representative (MR) during audits.
- Draft inspection reports to document findings and recommendations.
- Monitor compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Inspect facilities to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.
- Develop health and safety procedures across all departments.
Required Skills:
- Practical experience in implementing and maintaining EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001 preferred).
- Strong background in accident investigations, safety training, and workshops.
- Familiarity with modern environmental monitoring and control procedures.
- Knowledge of industrial wastewater treatment and troubleshooting.
- Proactive and progressive approach to managing EHS matters.
- Proficient in computer applications and reporting tools.
- Good understanding of hazard analysis techniques.
- Strong team orientation and collaboration skills.
