Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the research and development of new paint formulations and improvement of existing products.
- Conduct lab-scale experiments and testing to ensure product performance meets quality and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and quality control, to support product scaling and implementation.
- Analyze raw materials, study market trends and recommend innovations.
- Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, test results and process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in R&D, preferably in the paints, coatings or chemical industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and testing procedures.
- Good understanding of industry standards, environmental regulations and safety protocols.
