Position: Assistant Manager Accounts Payable
Salary Level: Up to AM Location: Islamabad
Job Summary Timely payment processing to vendors and staff reimbursements within defined TAT. Timely expense amortizations for accurate reporting. Monitoring GL to identify anomalies and to take corrective measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate payment processing of vendors. Adhere to the defined TATs for AP function.
- Ensuring that documentation to process payments is complete with all respect to processing local/ international vendor payments in time.
- Processing staff reimbursements within defined TAT.
- Processing all final settlements for resigned employees.
- Completing month end closing/ quarter end/ half year end and annual closing to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Timely and accurate distribution of Traveler Pricing and return on Head Office Account for accurate compilation of location wise P&L. Amortization of prepaid balances.
- Identification of anomalies in SOAs to ensure timely corrective measures.
- Timely provision of data for external reviews and statutory audits.
- Timely data provision for internal audits. Monitoring GLs to have a close check for any wrong expense booking/ mis-amortizations.
- Providing timely and accurate resolution of the queries for accurate and timely reporting.
- Continuously looking for areas of improvement and development which could lead to achievement of efficiency and effectiveness in business processes, which are not limited to the finance function.
- Any special assignment assigned on time-to-time basis.
Education Preferably Masters/Advance degree (Finance, Business Administration with concentration in Banking and Finance/ Financial Management) from a reputed university.
Experience 4 to 5 years relevant work experience.
