FiveRivers Technologies is looking for an Associate-level Android Developer to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mobile technologies and a strong background in developing robust, high-quality Android applications. You will work closely with our product development team to design, develop, and deploy innovative mobile solutions that meet the needs of our users.
Responsibilities:
· Design and develop Android applications.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prototype, and implement interactive features.
· Ensure performance and responsiveness of applications across various devices and screen sizes.
· Stay curious and engaged with new tools, libraries, and best practices in Android development.
· Contribute to code quality, modularity, and well-documented implementation.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
· 0.6– 1 year of professional Android development experience.
· Experience in Java and/or Kotlin with a grasp of Android SDKs and architecture components.
· Experience working with REST APIs, background tasks, and network operations.
· Exposure to or interest in BLE communication and offline-first apps is a strong advantage.
· Basic experience with Clean Code Architecture and modular development.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, exploratory environment.
· Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset.
