Position Title: Assistant Manager Applications Support
Location: Head Office – Karachi
Position Description:
The role will coordinate with end-user relationships, while responding to both critical and routine application support requests, and interfaces with vendors and consultants for development and support.
Job Responsibilities:
· Provide technical support for internal and external applications, resolving issues in a timely manner.
· Perform routine monitoring and maintenance to ensure application performance.
· Troubleshoot and resolve application-related problems, including database and API issues.
· Work with end users to understand issues, collect requirements, and resolve problems.
· Maintain application configurations, ensuring smooth operation and security.
· Develop, test, and implement application enhancements and new features based on business needs.
· Integrate APIs between internal and external systems.
· Collaborate with vendors and business teams to design and implement improvements.
· Should be able to develop basic queries to extract data from the Oracle database.
· Assist in the audit process by maintaining accurate records of application configurations, updates, and changes.
Required Competencies to successfully perform:
· Knowledge/ experience with Dot Net, Rest APIs, Oracle database queries (SQL,PL/SQL)
· Strong communication skills
· Strong problem solving and analytical skills
· Ability to meet deadlines
Required Education & Experience:
· Minimum Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a reputable / HEC recognized institution.
· Masters in the relevant discipline will be a plus
· 2 – 5 years of relevant experience
