Position: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager Senior SOC Analyst
Department: Risk & IS
Location: Karachi
Education: Bachelors/Masters in CS/CE/IT/IS or relevant domain
Experience: 06-08 years in Information Security/SOC or relevant field.
Job Role & Requirements:
- Manage and update 24 x 7 shifts roster plan.
- Monitor threats to organization’s IT infrastructure and collaborate with teams to create security rules.
- Extend triage of security alerts reported by SOC (Tier-1).
- Manage vendor relationships, escalate critical issues, and bugs for timely resolution.
- Manage for integrating standard or non-standard logs into security information and event management.
- Manage and update indicators of compromise to timely detect and respond to known and emerging threats.
- Update and maintain SOC Playbook document as required.
- Stay up-to-date with security trends, threats, and control measures.
- Hands-on experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, EPP).
- Knowledge of MITRE Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and concepts.
- Certifications like CEH, CHFI or any SIEM related will be an added advantage.
