We’re Hiring – Assistant Manager Cutting at Yunus Textile Mills Ltd.
Experience: Minimum 03 years
Qualification: Graduation/Masters
Location: Karachi
Key Responsibilities:
-Supervise and coordinate daily activities in the cutting department.
-Ensure accurate and efficient fabric cutting in alignment with production schedules.
-Lead a team of cutting operators and technicians, providing guidance and training as required.
-Monitor and control fabric quality and minimize wastage.
-Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow.
-Implement and uphold safety measures and best practices in the cutting department.
-Maintain accurate records and reports related to cutting operations.
-Drive process improvements to boost productivity and quality.
-Verify order quantities with the merchandising department and ensure fabric availability per marker ratios. Address over-consumption issues by consulting the authorized merchandiser and CAD team.
-Inspect fabric upon receipt through cutting QC, checking for issues like rejection, holes, or dyeing defects, and maintain minimum lay height based on fabric types.
-Train subordinates on efficient cutting machine usage and proper fabric laying techniques.
-Work closely with cutting QC to ensure proper fabric laying, considering shade bands and minimizing wastage. Ensure fabric relaxation based on its type.
-Prioritize overtime reduction, and strictly adhere to compliance, 5S principles, quality standards, RQS, and company policies.
