ASSISTANT MANAGING EDITOR
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the content of all publications of the College Journal. Plan each issue with regard to submission, schedule, and deadline. Produce the highest quality Journal by ensuring that the submissions are of CPSP standards. Examine the contents and writing style of each article. Assess topics of upcoming issues and determine articles that fit the standards of the CPSP Journal. Verify facts, clarifying information, and writing editorial content. Write articles and features for publication in the Journal. Keep up-to-date with the trends and developments related to journal publications.
Required Qualification: Medical Graduate/Masters in English/Journalism/Mass Communication.
Experience: 01 to 02 years relevant working experience in a scientific journal in a similar capacity. Skills Required: strong communication and administrative skills. Must be computer literate.
LANGUAGE EDITOR
We are looking for a detail-oriented Language Editor to review and refine written content for grammar, clarity, and consistency. Responsibilities include proofreading, ensuring adherence to editorial guidelines, and collaborating with writers to improve content quality.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in editing or proofreading.
- Strong command of the English language and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of editorial style guides and content management tools.
STATISTICIAN
The candidate will be responsible for the review of the statistical analysis plan of synopsis and Research Articles, the suggestion of corrections, where required, based on objectives and study design, and assistance of trainees’ statistical concerns. Candidate must be a Masters (Statistics)/Master of Science in Biostatistics & Epidemiology (MSBE), with a special interest in Medical research with relevant experience in using SPSS/Minitab/SAS software.
