Position Assistant Manager-Procurement (Packaging)
Key Responsibilities include:
-Oversee the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, ensuring materials are delivered on time and within budget.
-Coordinate the entire packaging process, working closely with both internal teams and external suppliers.
-Manage the procurement of various packaging materials, such as Offset, -Flexible, Rigid, and Master cartons, along with Point of Sale Materials (POSM).
-Supervise the approval and development process for flexible packaging solutions.
-Negotiate contracts with suppliers, monitor their performance, maintain precise records, and improve vendor relationships.
-Evaluate and manage supplier performance, ensuring quality and delivery standards are met, while actively seeking new suppliers.
-Work closely with R&D and QA teams to explore alternative resources and contribute to the development of innovative packaging solutions.
-Implement cost-saving initiatives based on sourcing strategies and vendor trials.
RequiredEducation:
-MBA in Supply Chain or a related field from a recognized institution.
-Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Experience:
-At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
-Strong knowledge of sourcing, vendor management, and procurement processes.
-Experience with vendor management software and procurement systems
