HBL Asset Management (wholly owned subsidiary of HBL Bank Ltd.) is looking for the position of “Sr. Fund Manager – Equity” in the Fund Management department for their Head Office located in Karachi.

Location: Karachi – Head Office
Key Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the development and refinement of the Equity funds investment strategy and leveraging opportunities to enhance fund performance.
- Actively manage the Equity portfolios to maximize funds returns while working within the Regulatory and Internal Limits
- Monitor portfolio performance, asset allocation of funds, risk parameters and compliance status as well as communicating the same as and when required.
- Responsible for ensuring efficient management and execution of transactions for equity funds and being abreast of all necessary information which can help in taking timely investment decisions
- Responsible for making pre and post trades activities & liquidity management of all equity funds;
- Ensure policy & procures are kept updated
- Ensure meticulous compliance to all regulatory requirements
Required Competencies to successfully perform:
- Strong understanding of equity markets, financial instruments, and investment strategies.
- Understanding of macroeconomic and microeconomic environment and indicators.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to assess and manage risk.
- Good Communication skills (written and verbal both)
- Sound knowledge of NBFC regulations and Mutual Fund sector;
Required Education & Experience:
• Minimum Graduate from any HEC recognized university and/or any well reputed international university.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant industry experience.
• CFA will be preferred.
