Position: Testing & Commissioning Engineer Elevators
Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Testing & Commissioning Engineers to join our Elevators Department. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring that elevator installations meet safety standards, troubleshooting system issues and guaranteeing full operational functionality according to project specifications. The candidates will play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing and commissioning of elevator systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic activities to resolve any issues in system performance.
- Verify that installations conform to engineering designs, project specifications, and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Generate detailed test reports and documentation for submission to clients and internal teams.
- Provide technical support to the installation team and offer guidance during on-site operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Participate in handover meetings with clients, providing technical explanations as needed.
Requirements:
- DAE/Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in testing, commissioning, and maintenance of elevators or in similar role.
- Strong knowledge of elevator safety standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., EN 81-20/50).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using testing tools and equipment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site when required.
