We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Production In-Charge to lead daily plant operations at Sorrel Foods. The ideal candidate will oversee the efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing of spices, desserts, and related food products while ensuring optimal utilization of manpower, materials, and machinery.
𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:
𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴: Plan, organize, and supervise daily production schedules based on targets, sales forecasts, and inventory levels.
𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Allocate manpower, machines, and raw/packaging materials efficiently to meet daily/weekly goals while minimizing downtime and wastage.
𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Supervise, guide, and train production operators and line workers; enforce discipline, attendance, and safety compliance.
𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀-𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Coordinate closely with Planning, Store, QA, and Maintenance teams for material availability, preventive maintenance, and line readiness.
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆: Ensure strict compliance with GMP, HACCP, and FSSC 22000 standards, SOPs, and recipe formulations.
𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀: Maintain accurate batch production records, line logs, and yield/wastage reports to drive continuous process improvements.
𝗛𝗦𝗘 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲: Enforce factory safety policies, proper PPE usage, and high standards of plant hygiene and sanitation.
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 & 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲:
𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Food Technology or related field.
𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: 𝟱+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 of relevant experience in FMCG food manufacturing (preferably in spice & dessert processing).
𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲: Strong background in mixing/blending operations, filling/packing lines, and food safety standards (𝗚𝗠𝗣 / 𝗛𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗣 / 𝗜𝗦𝗢 / 𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗖 𝟮𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟬).
