Research & Development (R&D) Executive/Officer
Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Executive/Officer to support the development and enhancement of products within our organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in researching, innovating, and ensuring that our products meet consumer expectations, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. This role requires strong technical skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development of new products and formulations based on market trends and consumer needs.
- Conduct experiments and trials to test product feasibility, stability, and performance.
- Perform research to identify new raw materials, technologies, and product improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of research findings, trials, and product specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and marketing, to ensure seamless product development.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements during product development.
- Analyze competitor products to provide insights for product innovation and differentiation.
- Support product testing, sensory evaluations, and troubleshooting during production.
- Monitor the performance of newly launched products and recommend further improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in R&D or product development, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Knowledge of product development processes, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in laboratory techniques, tools, and equipment relevant to R&D activities.
- Ability to document findings and create reports with attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for innovation and a keen eye for market trends.
