SITUATION VACANT: Applications are invited from the candidates for the following posts mentioned below in Khyber Medical College, Peshawar (MTI).

Positions & Qualifications

1. Chairpersons

Specialties:
- a. Medicine
- b. Psychiatry
- c. Dermatology
- d. Ophthalmology
- e. Surgical Specialties
- f. Medical Education
- Qualification & Experience:
  - Candidates will be assessed on their Teaching experience, research publications, leadership qualities and management skills.
  - Applicants must currently hold a valid position in the relevant department/specialty at the Assistant Professor or higher level.
  - Applications must be submitted within 15 days of advertisement and should include a covering letter, CV and the names and addresses of three referees, in electronic or hard copy form to the address below.
  - MTI Act, 2015 (Amended from time to time), Rules & Regulations shall be applied.

2. Assistant Professors

Specialties:
- a. Nephrology
- b. Ophthalmology
- c. Medical Education
- Qualification & Experience:
  - Eligibility:
    - (i) PMC (Interim or Final) criteria (Erstwhile PM&DC).
    - (ii) MTI Act, 2015, rules and regulations shall apply.

3. Forensic Serologist

Qualification & Experience:
- M.Sc/M.Phil in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology or Molecular Genetics from HEC accredited university with four years experience including minimum of two (02) years working experience in recognized Forensic Serology/DNA Laboratory performing Serological examination of body fluid and nuclear DNA analyses.
- Must have special course work in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry and Bio-statistics.

4. Network Administrator

Salary: Fixed pay @ 90,000/- per month.
- Qualification & Experience:
  - Bachelors (04 years) or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent qualification from HEC recognized University.
  - At least 05 years of practical and relevant experience with proven track to designing, installation, configuration, manage and troubleshooting of local area network in well reputed private/public organization.
  - Must possess strong skills on routers, switches, firewall, internet access management, gateway, WiFi access points, WLC and servers.
  - Must be able to support end users/desktops.
  - Establish policies and procedures for the network.
  - The candidate should have excellent verbal and written skills to prepare documentations for purchasing IT equipment.
  - Professional Certification: CCNP (routing & switching and security) and Microsoft server certification is must.

5. Stenographer

Qualification & Experience:
- a) 2nd Class BA/B.Sc
- b) A speed of 50 wpm in short hand in English and 35 wpm in English typing.
- c) Diploma in Information Technology from a recognized Board.

6. Clinical Technician (Radiology)

Qualification & Experience:
- At least Second Division Secondary School Certificate from a recognized Board with two years Diploma in the relevant Paramedical Technology from KPK Medical Faculty or Diploma in the relevant Paramedical Technology from any recognized institution, provided that the same is registered with Medical Faculty Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Peshawar or any other recognized paramedical Institution.
- Preference will be given to the candidates having at least 3 years experience in the relevant field.

7. Female Attendant

Qualification & Experience:
- SSC with science from a recognized Board.

Terms & Conditions:-

For the Chairpersons Post at Serial No: 1

a. The Chairpersons selected, other than faculty members of KMC/KTH, shall have salary package equivalent to the initial basic pay of the same faculty post/scale they are already settled on under prescribed rules and regulations of MTI-KMC/KTH. While, faculty members of KMC/KTH, after being selected, shall continue to draw his/her pay equivalent to the scale post/scale being already appointed.
b. The post will be a tenure based position for a period of 03 years and renewable for two further terms of three years each at the discretion of the Dean and the advice of the Academic Council based upon performance and so documented by the Dean.
c. Institutional Based Practice (IBP) for clinical chairpersons shall be mandatory. The selected doctor shall not practice medicine outside the hospital premises. IBP perks and privileges will be admissible.

For the Posts at Serial No: 2 to 7

a. Applications (on prescribed form) along-with CV, attested testimonials, CNIC and other experience certificates and credentials like SSC/HSSC/B.S/MBBS/M.Sc/M.Phil/Ph.D/Academic certificates (as required) and other relevant documents should reach to the office of the Dean KMC with in FIFTEEN (15) working days of the publication of this advertisement. Forms are available on KMC website i.e. http://www.kmc.edu.pk. Applicants should deposit (Rs. 1000/- for Serial No: 2 to 6, & Rs. 500/- for Serial No: 7) for the above posts as processing fee (non-refundable) in NBP, University Campus Branch, Peshawar in favour of Dean, KMC, slips are available at NBP, Account No. NIDA-10 and attach original slip with application form.
b. Candidates applying for more than one post shall apply separately, depositing Rs. 1000/- for each post.
c. Candidates at Serial No 2 must submit name, email address, contact number, and designation of three referees.
d. Only shortlisted candidates as per prescribed criteria shall be called for the interview.
e. Services of selected candidates will be governed, under the KPK Medical & Teaching Institution Reform Act, 2015 (amended from time to time).
f. Civil/government servants or employee of any organization shall apply through Proper Channel.
g. All civil/government servants (if selected) or employee of any organization, will resign from Civil/Govt. service or from employment of any other organization. No lien or any such relief of any sort shall be acceptable.
h. An incomplete application or application received after the closing time and date shall stand rejected/cancelled.
i. All recruitment will be done on merit basis. Therefore, any reason to influence the process will make candidate liable for disqualification in the said selection process.
j. Original documents should be produced at the time of interview.
k. Selected clinical faculty members must do mandatory IBPs as per MTI-Act 2015 (amended from time to time).
l. No TA/DA is allowed for test/interview.
