Horizon Pakistan Jobs Assistant Manager Banking and Imports:
Job Title/ Designation: Assistant Manager – Banking and Imports
Location: Clifton- Karachi
Main Responsibilities:
- Opening of LCs regarding Capital Goods, Raw materials and Spare Parts.
- Fulfilling different formalities of SBP as per Foreign Exchange Manuals.
- Correspondence with Foreign Vendors in respect of LCs.
- Correspondence with Banks in respect of LCs.
- Negotiate with the Treasury Department of Banks for settlement of foreign LCs payments.
- Co-ordinate with Clearing Agent for timely and cost-effective clearing of import consignment. Prepare reports relates to imports and liability position for submission to Management, Auditors and Finance departments.
- Check inventory of all the imports made and verify with packing lists/LC contracts.
- Assist the Finance Team for input of Data in the new software.
- Perform special assignment as required by the Reporting Manager.
